“Nyumun is my mother’s country. The other rockholes are Palka Palkatjarra, Kapi Wiytjarra, Kuru Ala and Mangu. There were a lot of yellow ants all travelling to the rockhole, Kapi Wiytjarra. Wati Tjulpu (bird man) was at the rockhole and the ants chased him all the way to Mangu. He had a wiltja (shelter) in the tree, but the ants go in and killed him. They sting those yellow ants, all the time biting.” – Noeli Roberts
