“The artist spent most of her childhood and working life on Cherubun Station. The artist remembers the biggest waterhole on Cherubun Station and refers to it as Ngapa, which in Walmajarru means water. The artist’s dreaming is water and wind “Ngarbel Ngarbel”, this waterhole has particular significance to her.”
